One Lone Car

Occasionally, I stumble across a band that I believe has music actually worth listening to.  And this time around that band is Missouri’s own One Lone Car.  Before now, I thought the only reason to visit St. Louis was to catch a Cardinals game at Busch stadium, something I haven’t done since the mid 80′s.  But, perhaps next time I am up that way, I’ll have to find out where One Lone Car is playing and check out a live performance for myself.  At times this band adds a mild dark swashbuckler sort of retro feel to their songs and yet maintains a nice modern appeal with lyrics that are nearly philosophical in their own right.  But, don’t take my word for it.  Check out One Lone Car for yourself.
